-Construction 
· Conductor : Circular tinned stranded copper as per BS 6360, class2
· Insulation : Mica Glass tape and Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) as per BS 7655-1.2
· Cabling : with non-hygroscopic filler (if necessary)

· Collective screen : Tinned annealed copper wire braid (-S type cable only)
· Inner sheath : Halogen-free thermoset compound as per BS 7655-2.6, SW4
· Amour : Galvanized steel wires braid as per BS 6883 (Tinned phosphor bronze wire baid as per BS 6883 - 1Core cable only)
· Outer sheath : Halogen-free thermoset compound as per BS 7655-2.6, SW4

- Core identification
The identification of cores shall be made by colored insulation or strip tape applied under the metallic shielding layer or other suitable methods which shall be follow ;
Any other colors of insulated core may be applicable when purchaser required.

1 Core (1×) : Red or Black
2 Core (2×) : Red, Black → single phase connection
3 Core (3×) : Red, Yellow, Blue → three phase connection
(3G) : Red, Black, Green/Yellow strip → single phase connection, neutral & protective earth
4 Core (4×) : Red, Yellow, Blue, Black → three phase connection, neutral loaded
(4G) : Red, Yellow, Blue, Green/Yellow strip → three phase connection, protective earth
5 Core (5G) : Red, Yellow, Blue, Black, Green/Yellow strip → single phase 5wire, neutral & protective earth
5 Core (5×) and above : Numbering on White core
Earthing core : Green/Yellow strip
